The National Center on Low-Incidence Disabilities (NCLD) has a useful IEP tool on their site. The I.E.P. Pop Up is a tool to help families learn the laws and find good responses to challenges that may arise in an IEP meeting. The tool suggests 16 statements that a parent might hear at an IEP meeting, suggestions of possible helpful responses, and links to the parts of IDEA that relate to the answer. The tool is aimed at use for IEP meetings regarding students with low-incidence disabilities but contains very useful information for any parent.
