The Following Programs are designed for families still on the waiting list for state funding.  These programs are run entirely from donations and grant awards.

  • Family TIES:  Participants of Family TIES meet quarterly to provide a chance for parents of children with disabilities to network one another.  Parents share community resources and learn of options of support for themselves as well as their children.  Siblings and the children enjoy structured leisure activities.  Often the entire family will participate in-group recreational activities.
  • Respitality:  The Respitality program combines respite services with quality hospitality services.  Families benefit from the generosity of hotels and restaurants that provide free accommodations and a meal for two, during a 24-hour getaway.  During this time, FFI offers care for the family member with a disability and any siblings within the home.
  • Information and Referral: FFI provides information and referral services to people who want to connect with services within the community or state.  FFI also has a library of reference material (written and video) for those who need more information about cerebral palsy and related topics.
  • Equipment Purchase Assistance:This program provides coordination of funding and financial assistance to purchase needed equipment and services, such as wheelchairs, communication devices and adapted bikes.  Download EPA Application
